How to Read the Release Calendar After Trade-Show Season
Announcements are the beginning of reporting, not proof that a cigar is on a shelf.
The premium-cigar calendar moves through announcement, retailer allocation, shipment and actual availability. Those dates are often collapsed into a single “launch,” which makes limited releases look easier to find than they are.
TPCC records each stage separately. Manufacturer news establishes intent. Distributor or retailer confirmation establishes movement. A shelf check establishes availability. None of those steps substitutes for a tasting.
This structure also keeps weekly automation honest: a feed item can open a dossier, but publication requires source checks, original context and a clear distinction between company claim and observed fact.
